Marco is a junior from Grand Island, NE, pursuing a B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology. He is currently working in Dr. Kevin Campbell’s lab in the department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. His current studies in the Campbell Lab focus on analyzing how abnormalities in the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex (DGC) in muscle membranes cause certain muscular dystrophies or dystroglycanopathies. After graduation, Marco plans to pursue a master’s degree in human physiology and eventually an MD.
