Nina Vanderzanden

Majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Ethics & Public Policy

Nina is a biomedical engineering student on the cellular engineering and pre-medicine track. She is also pursuing an additional ethics major and minor in French. She works in a research lab on campus studying the immunomodulatory effects of stimulated mesenchymal stem cells, on the University's iGEM team (International Genetically Engineered Machine) working on a synthetic biology project to create a biosensor for 3HP in B. subtilus, and does tutoring work with the Engineering Tutorial Center and Supplemental Instruction. After graduation, she intends to apply for an MTSP program on the east coast.
